A firmware update (v3.4.1) will be pushed to 120 IoT sensors deployed across Science Hall. This release fixes a known MQTT reconnect loop that caused intermittent data gaps in the facilities dashboard and improves temperature sensor calibration accuracy by ±0.2°C.

Update Method
Updates are pushed OTA via the IoT management platform (AWS IoT Greengrass). Devices update one zone at a time and self-reboot (< 90 seconds offline per device).
Impact
- Facilities dashboard may show brief data gaps per zone during sensor reboot sequence
- No HVAC or access control systems are affected — those run on a separate control network
Outcome
All 120 sensors updated to v3.4.1. Telemetry confirmed stable. MQTT reconnect issue resolved.
