Summary

Wave 2 of the 2026 laptop refresh program is underway. Eighty-five end-of-life devices (5+ years old) will be replaced with new Dell Latitude 5550 units pre-imaged with the standard academic build.

  • Financial Aid (18 devices)
  • Human Resources (15 devices)
  • Facilities Management (30 devices)

Process

  1. New device staged and enrolled in Intune before delivery
  2. User data migrated via OneDrive sync verification
  3. Old device collected, wiped (NIST 800-88), and sent to surplus

Timeline

Deployments are scheduled Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Users receive a 48-hour advance notice email with their appointment slot.
